Jake Richter

Jake RichterThere’s probably no easy way to describe Jake, other than perhaps being “focus challenged”. That’s because in addition to being the Richter family’s uber-geek in all things computer and Internet related, as well as a parallel entrepreneur, Jake’s skills range from photography, cooking, and writing to video game testing, dive instruction, WebCam installations, patent work, and countless other things in between.

For those truly curious about the details of his background, take a look at the following links:

Needless to say, Jake is the one that set up this web site, and makes sure it keeps running. He also qualifies as perhaps the most anal retentive of The Traveling Richters, needing to know well in advance where his next night’s rest will be. While dining is a frequently spontaneous action, a bed to sleep in is not. The rest of the family is working on him though.

Jake is also an avid video gamer, owning at least two of every recent popular video game console and portable device to have come out in the last decade. He still holds his own against Bas and Krystyana in Halo 3 fragfests, but they are slowly gaining ground. Bas has completely eclipsed Jake’s knowledge of World of Warcraft (another gaming addition of both boys), however. His Xbox Live Gamertag is BonaireGamer.
